We just returned from a wonderful week in Maine. I attended Kim Bernard’s Maine Coast Encaustic Workshop Retreat. You can see the happy faces of my classmates and their spouses in the photo above. It was a beautiful week, the weather was great and there was plenty of good food. My husband and I had a great time at The Colony Hotel and searching southeastern Maine for the perfect lobster shack! Did I mention how much I love lobster!!! Meanwhile, Kim Bernard provided excellent encaustic instruction on a daily basis in the carriage house studio behind the hotel. What a perfect vacation!!! This is my second year attending this workshop and I hope life works out for us to go back again!
In other news…I will have work on exhibit for Harrisburg’s 25th Annual Gallery Walk this Sunday, September 8, 11am-6pm at Pine Street Presbyterian Church, 310 N Third Street and Art Association of Harrisburg, 21 N Front Street. I’ll be at the Pine Street church most of the day with my comrades from the Mixed Media Art Group. So come on out to visit and view Harrisburg’s excellent art!!!
